My best friend just had her first baby... a precious little baby girl. I cannot tell you how sad I am that I am not there, obsessing over how cute she is. Laura and I have been friends for 24 years, and BEST friends for 8 years. I have never missed an important event since then... this is the first. It makes me sad. This is the one thing I don't like about being so far away from family and friends.
Congratulations Laura and Calen. I am so proud of you and know you will make wonderful parents.
